Sr. Business Analyst
DMT is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to join our team. This individual will work closely with our internal teams and our European client base. We require someone who is motivated to improve our clients’ business through the use of technology. You must be fluent in English and French, as business requirements, specifications, test plans/scripts and training material will be developed and reviewed with French speaking clients. Given the European customer base, working hours preferably start around 6:00 or 6:30 a.m. CST and run till mid-afternoon. Occasional travel abroad may be required.
The position involves...
- Working with our European client and/or internal representatives to determine the functional needs of our software and business solutions
- Working on large projects and/or many different sized projects at the same time
- Liaising between the business community and the development team to assure development of successful client solutions
- Documenting functional requirements through to acceptance criteria and scripts
- Conduct research and evaluation of products and approaches to integrate into our solution set
- Problem solving and creative solution development
- Usability and user interface development
- Supporting our sales staff from pre-sales support through to training and roll-out
- Using a variety of methodologies, processes, and tools
- Leading other analysts in this discipline
- Furthering the company’s best practices in this discipline
- Travel abroad as needed
Our ideal candidates...
- Have a relevant University Degree or College Diploma in applicable field
- Have 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Be fluent in French (mandatory)
- Be customer, detailed, and quality oriented
- Be able to work early morning hours
- Be able to understand both business and technology domains
- Has experience in various methodologies and documentation approaches (UML, Use Cases, User Stories, etc.)
Desirables
- Has led other analysts on mission critical projects
- Familiarity with various SDLC’s
- Familiarity with testing tools including automated test tools
- CBAP Designation
- Experience with SketchFlow
