- Design, development and implementation of visually appealing and highly functional Rich Internet Applications
- High attention to quality and timely execution
- Testing and verification of work produced, including cross-browser/platform
- Taking a hands-on role in collaborating with marketing and business experts as well as other team members in order to meet project objectives
- Serving as a technical resource designing usability and technical solutions
- Coaching and mentoring other developers (depending on experience)
- Research, identification and promotion of new tools, technologies and techniques
- Participating in design and code reviews as necessary
- Supporting clients’ evolving needs through ongoing product enhancements and application extensions
Our ideal candidate...
- Possesses a University Degree or College Diploma in an applicable field
- Possesses 2+ years web development experience
- Demonstrates passion to learn the latest software development trends and emerging technologies
- Has the ability to hand code XHTML, CSS and JavaScript if needed
- Has knowledge of version control tools such as CVS or Subversion
- Has experience with web usability standards and SEO best practices
- Has experience with Web 2.0 technologies (DHTML, AJAX, etc.)
- Has worked with Microsoft tools and technologies including ASP.Net, Visual Studio and SQL Server
- Has excellent organization and communication skills
- Follows and promotes established standards and methodologies
- Possesses an understanding of underlying popular Internet protocols, browser and server technologies
- Optionally possesses Flash / ActionScript skills
