DMT creates new on-line shopping tools for Volkswagen buyers
AJAX, Ontario (June 11, 2008) – Car shoppers searching for detailed information
on Volkswagen models, features and financing will have one-stop web shopping
starting this summer, thanks to an innovative collection of on-line tools from
DMT Development Systems Group Inc. working in collaboration with PALM
Communication Marketing Inc. and Volkswagen Canada.
The three new features to be found on www.vw.ca
will allow consumers to configure a new Volkswagen model with the options they
desire, estimate the price (including finance or lease payment details offered
through Volkswagen Finance) and compare that car to competitive vehicles
available in the Canadian market.
The new tools will be developed by DMT to integrate seamlessly with the launch
of a totally redesigned Volkswagen corporate website, essentially replacing two
existing programs. DMT, of Winnipeg, will work cooperatively with Volkswagen’s
Montreal-based advertising agency PALM to ensure that all corporate design
standards are met.
“The suite of new tools for consumers will make it even easier to find,
configure, compare and select the Volkswagen model that best suits their
needs,” explains Bruce Rosen, Director of Marketing and Communications at
Volkswagen Canada.
The introduction of Volkswagen’s redesigned corporate website is scheduled to
launch this summer. Volkswagen Canada is the sixth manufacturer to employ a
DMT-designed and maintained array of web-based shopping tools.
A privately held company, DMT has posted double digit growth since its inception
and employs more than 75 people at its headquarters on the campus of the
